For The Love Of Laundry was the brainchild of Melissa Power, a wife and mother of three, who wanted to do all that she could to help her community. The company, since then, has moved to the capable hands of Erin Waller-Burnett where it will grow and prosper!
Hi everyone, I’m Erin Waller-Burnett! I am the lucky new owner of For The Love of Laundry! I have a wonderful husband, Jeff, a daughter Payton and three sons Greyson, Ben and Jordan.
When I first saw that Melissa was wanting to sell the business I thought to myself: “I need to buy that!” Melissa’s drive and passion to help others in the community, with her free laundry days and the pamper project, is right in keeping with my own goals as the owner of a local artisan market.
I am the proud owner of Farmer’s Daughter’s Artisan Market in Glencoe, a locally based business that helps over 40 small home based businesses sell their homemade, handmade with love products. All of the body care products within the store are all natural, in the hopes that more and more people will make the switch to natural based products to remove the toxins from their homes.
I can’t wait to see the brand new opportunities this amazing business is going to provide for my family and I! I’m excited to get to know everyone that already uses these incredible products and everyone new that comes on board. Melissa has created such great products; they need to be in everyone’s homes!
“Being a young entrepreneur has its challenges, and I’m really looking forward to being a role model for other young women and men that are looking to step outside of their comfort zone!”.
To date, For The Love Of Laundry has hosted 19 laundry events that have helped 819 people by providing 3756 free loads of laundry. For The Love of Laundry has saved families over $15,000.00 in laundry services and supplies.
